Bluetooth Headset Woes
If you have purchased a Bluetooth Headset through an internet company then you probably understand my situation. The main reasons for doing so is price and a much larger selection. My first BT headset was the Sony Ericsson HBH-60. It was a great headset until the battery gave out. I then moved to the HBH-65, yet another great headset until. you guessed it, the battery gave out. Then I decided to try some different brands. After reading several great reviews, I purchased the Jabra JX-10 from a company I can't recall. I then proceeded to return about 4 JX-10's and never got one that really worked. Let's try something else, maybe a Moto. Nathan had been using Motorolas' headsets for quite some time now and seemed to like them. I then receive a Motorola H500 for Christmas from a quite reliable internet company. I am on my THIRD Moto H500 and this is becoming a huge pain. These BT Headsets are not retail. They come in a little bag, sometimes with no manual. Looks like I am going to have to eat the extra cost and go to a retail store and buy a headset that I can return easily.
TiVo HD for ME!!
I thought this Christmas was going to pass by and leave me TiVoless yet again, but much to my surprise, I was WAY off. I usually have a decent idea of what my Christmas gifts are going to be, but I was shocked to see that sweet little orange box under the wrapping. My brother and I can't wait to get to the local Comcast office and be rid of the Motorola DCT3412. The TiVo HD is a very clean and sharp looking box. The TiVo interface is nothing new to me, yet I am still so excited to start using it again. If you have cable and do not have a TiVo, check out our interface comparison pics of the Motorola DCT6412 III and TiVo Series 3.
Tech Update
I admit I dont update my blog ever. really. Just thought I would update everyone on my latest Tech.
My brother and I go through bluetooth headsets like candy. My latest was the Jabra JX10. I purchased it from an online retailer and went through about 3 faulty headsets before I got one that worked. What a PAIN!! After ALL that, I ended up washing the 4th one. Ruined, of course. I am ashamed to say that I have been without a BT headset for several months now. I hinted at one for Christmas so the wait is almost over.
I usually like buying the hottest, newest BT headset of the market at the time, but I actually specifically asked for the Moto H500. Nathan(Brother) has used this headset for quite some time and it seems to work very well for him, and its also very cheap. I figured I should go that route being as how my last one ended up in the wash.

My Brother and I are Comcast subscribers.
My Daughter and the 880
If you have looked around our site at all you will notice that we are big fans of the Harmony 880. My daughter is nearing a year old and is completely in love with the 880. She is crawling and getting around better now, and will do anything to get her hands on it. Should I play with my Mickey Mouse toy??, she thinks to herself, or should I grab the 880 out of daddy's hands and accidentally delete recorded programs that daddy hasn't watched yet??
