It's Sufficient

Well, what can I say about the Comcast Motorola HDDVR. Not much really. It provides me with HD content and a way to record it. It locks up quite a bit and the interface is complete crap. If you have ever used a Tivo box, you will probably share my feelings about this box.
At least its not a bad looking box, it's thin and matches most of the other products in your system. That's enough of that, back to the cons. I dont like the display. It's big, it's orange-yellow and really doesn't give you any good info except for the time. If it happens to lock up, which happens more than I would like, the box takes about 4-6 hours or longer to receive all the program info after a hard reset.
I don't like the design or the button layout of the remote that is supplied with the box. That is why I have the Logitech Harmony 880. It is a great remote and controls my devices and activities beautifully. Anyways, back to the Moto box. Like I said before, it does what I need it to do and is my only option for the time being. I am somewhat jealous of my brother because he has been rockin' the Tivo Series 3 for quite some time now. He is single and I am married with a baby, you do the math on that one.
So, if you are looking to upgrade your system to HD, Comcast offers decent HD content and a decent HD or HDDVR box.
